Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MovieDM AI ("we") handles personal data when you use MovieDM AI.

## What we collect
- Account data: name, e-mail address, password hash, time zone and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID.
- Billing data: plan, payment history and the customer ID of our payment processor. Card details are entered on the payment processor's page and never reach our servers.
- Content: projects, stories, scripts, characters, uploads and the AI outputs generated for you.
- Usage and security data: IP address, browser user agent, login times, credit transactions and audit logs of security-relevant actions.
- Support messages you send us.

## How we use it
To provide and secure the Service, process payments and credits, run the AI jobs you request, send transactional e-mails (verification, password reset, job and billing notices), answer support requests, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

## AI providers
When you run an AI tool, the prompt and any reference material needed for that job are sent to the AI provider shown in the tool (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Replicate, Runway or Luma). Those providers process the data under their own terms and privacy policies. We send only what the job requires and never send your password or payment details.

## Sub-processors
Hosting, storage, e-mail delivery, payment processing (Stripe) and, if enabled by the site operator, privacy-friendly analytics.

## Storage and security
Media is stored privately and served through short-lived signed links. Provider credentials are encrypted at rest. Passwords are hashed. Access to administrative tools is restricted by role and logged.

## Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your projects and media are deleted; billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Temporary render files are removed automatically.

## Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, export or delete your data and object to certain processing. Most of this is available in Settings; for anything else contact support@moviedm.com.

## Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and CSRF protection. If the operator enables analytics, the analytics provider may set its own cookies or use cookieless measurement.

## Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age of digital consent in their country.
